The City of Flemington is growing! The following development has been approved by the Flemington City Council. Note: We do not know when construction will begin on designs that have been approved. We will both know construction will start soon when the black silt fencing goes up around the build site.
Design Approved
- 300 apartments on Flemington Village Blvd.
- Publix shopping center at the corner of E. Oglethorpe Highway and Flemington Village Blvd.
- Chick-fil-A at the corner of E. Oglethorpe Highway and Flemington Village Blvd.
- Signalization at E. Oglethorpe Highway and Flemington Village Blvd.
- 27-room expansion at Hampton Inn.
Under Construction
- World of Beer on the corner of E. Oglethorpe Highway and Tranquil Way.
- Wawa on the corner of E. Oglethorpe Highway and E. General Stewart Way. (A small portion of the lot is in Flemington. The bulk of the property is in the City of Hinesville.)
- Shadow Pointe - 41 single-family homes on Patriots Trail.
- Tranquil South - Single-family homes (Phase 5)
- Signalization at Old Sunbury Rd. and E. Oglethorpe Highway.
- Sidewalks down E. Oglethorpe Highway from the Performing Arts Center to Liberty High School. -currently on hold-
